Technology donations allow us to give access to the underserved. Gently-used technology allows the Aeras Foundation to give the gift of education, second chances, and the opportunity to break cycles of poverty for those in need.

Monetary donations are used for consumable parts to update devices. Your donations turn into hard drives, memory, and chargers to power devices and connect others to education and life-saving services. With $20, we rehabilitate a donated device.
OUR IMPACT
60% of low-income families with children went without computer access at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. 1 in 5 teenagers in America struggle to complete their homework due to technology access barriers and are actively impacted by the Digital Divide. We’re on a mission to change that.
Our impact is felt through every donation. We donate to students, individuals, and nonprofit organizations. We aren’t just giving a device—we are giving hope, a second chance, and an opportunity to advance.
7,900+ devices collected
Since Fall 2020, Aeras Foundation has collected more than 7,900 electronic devices from donors. We intake laptops, desktops, tablets, and cellular phones that are otherwise collecting dust in a home or storage facility. After our renewal process, the device is placed into the hands of someone in need.
100,000lbs+ recycled
Not all devices can be renewed due to age or damage. Aeras Foundation ensures that no donated electronic device filled with rare earth materials and housed in plastic beyond renewable use ever touches a landfill. Together with our recycling partners, we have prevented over 100,000lbs pounds of electronic waste from being tossed in a landfill.
2,500+ devices donated
Gently used technology able to be renewed is professionally erased, retrofitted with a solid state hard drive, outfitted with additional memory, and provided new charging cables where needed. Once a device passes testing at Aeras Labs, it is packaged and ready for delivery to a new owner.
